"4 Magic Lantern Plates 1870"
These four French animated glass slides, hand-painted around 1880, are in excellent original condition. They depict a boat passing the chapel of William Tell in Switzerland, a devil and a barrel of wine, a fire and firefighters, and boats and a ruined tower. Made of wood and glass, they are in very good working order. Approximately 29 x 11 cm.
