He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and settled in Pest in the 1830s-1860s. Painted portraits, church and still life's pictures. In 1834 and 1842, he presented his works in Pest. In 1863, he appeared with his oil work Maria and Marta at the exhibition of the Pest Society. For some time he worked as a drawing teacher in Pest.
