                    Victorian Savoy cross pendant in 18 karat gold. A regional French cross adorned in its center with a square blue enamel cartouche decorated with two crossed flowers. On the reverse, the cartouche depicts the Sacred Heart (two flaming hearts) pierced by an arrow. These crosses are usually made of gilded or silver metal; it is rare to find one in gold. Regional pendant, possibly from Savoy, circa 1860-1880, France.
