A very refined Belle Epoque period opening pendant from the early 20th century in 750/°° yellow gold (18 kt, owl hallmark).
As a sentimental piece of jewelry, this pendant combines the symbols of love, luck, and happiness: heart-shaped, it is adorned with a lucky four-leaf clover, chiseled and delicately set with fine pearls in characteristic colors.
The back has been left smooth and polished (color differences in the photos are due to reflections).
With a side notch for ease of use, the locket opens to reveal two separate compartments: this allows, like sentimental jewelry, to carry a keepsake, a photo, etc., close to you.
