"A Pair Of Gilded Wood Candelabra From The Mid-18th Century"
                    
                    A pair of gilded wooden candelabras from the Ferrarese area, dating back to the mid-18th century. They are gilded entirely in pure gold on one side of the candelabra, while the other two sides are decorated with "temperone" emulsion. They feature a triangular base supported by bracket feet, with a body and base decorated with scrolls and curls that taper toward the top. The top features a shaped and scalloped plate, with a characteristic nail in the center, where the candles were inserted.
