Late 18th/early 19th century painting depicting a southern landscape. Very pretty little painting of very good quality evoking romanticism through its pictorial qualities. Artist to be identified but work of high quality, almost museum-like, animated by charming characters. Dimensions of the work 22 by 16.5 cm. Note the very good general condition and the very good quality of the colors, especially the blues giving a very nice depth. Collector's and decorative piece for a very beautiful interior.
