19th Century Alsatian Chair
Pair of typical Alsatian oak chairs, recognizable by their four diverging legs without crossbars and their slightly inclined flat backrest, carved with original and varied shapes. They were produced by hand from the Renaissance, from the 17th century until the middle of the 19th century. From 1820-1830, the backrest was straightened.
