Beautiful chest of drawers in burl mahogany veneer and gilt bronze. Blue Turquin marble top, four drawers on the front. Uprights with constricted and ringed columns, shell feet. Swans with laurel wreaths. Keyholes with crossed arrows, quivers, laurel wreaths, lictor's fasces and ribbons. Pull rings with confronting serpents and radiant palmettes. Finely chiseled bronzes, mercury gilt. Oak frame, french polish. Circa 1810. In the style of Bernard Molitor and Charles-Joseph Lemarchand. Height 101 cm, marble width 131 cm, marble depth 59 cm.
