Pair of curved "Boulle" sideboards from the Napoleon III period in gilded brass marquetry with inlay on black lacquer. Three curved sides decorated with brass fillets. The bronzes are of very fine quality with exceptional gilding. Each piece of furniture opens with a curved central door decorated with a brass marquetry medallion representing a bouquet of flowers with interlacing foliage, framed by a chiseled gilded bronze rod. The interior is in satin mahogany. They are topped with white Carrara marble.
