"Antique Medical Speculum – Bonnières In Brussels (circa 1875–1900)"

Rare surgical screw speculum, signed Bonnières à Bruxelles. Steel and brass instrument, with complete screw mechanism and guide rod ending in an original wooden handle.
By turning the front screw, the internal brass rod operates the two articulated arms which open symmetrically. High-quality workmanship typical of Belgian instruments of the late 19th century.
Marking: "Bonnières à Bruxelles" engraved on the case. Dimensions: approx. 14 × 15 cm.
Materials: steel, brass, wood.
Condition: very good overall condition, complete and functional, with patina of use. Period: circa 1870–1900. Use: medical speculum (rectal or gynecological).
