By turning the front screw, the internal brass rod operates the two articulated arms which open symmetrically. High-quality workmanship typical of Belgian instruments of the late 19th century.
Marking: "Bonnières à Bruxelles" engraved on the case. Dimensions: approx. 14 × 15 cm.

Condition: very good overall condition, complete and functional, with patina of use. Period: circa 1870–1900. Use: medical speculum (rectal or gynecological).
