Tourbillon, proof in spelter with green patina resting on a black marble base, doubly signed Feyral on the ribbon and on the back of the base. Slight wear to the patina (see photos) Pierre le Faguays or Fayral was born on August 29, 1892 in Rezé (Loire-Atlantique) and died on September 8, 1962 in Paris. His birth name is Pierre Camille Marie Le Faguays. Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Geneva. He worked with different sculptors including Max Le Verrier, the Susse Fréres foundry among others. His style is close to that of Demetre Chiparus. Le Faguays is very well known for his creations in artistic casting under different pseudonyms such as Guerbe or Fayral, the surname of his mother and his wife.
