"Pair Of Marble Sheaths"
Magnificent pair of sheaths, bases in the form of a truncated column. The construction harmoniously alternates white Carrara marble (very slightly veined) and a deeper gray veined marble, on a stable truncated structure highlighting the objects they are intended to receive (vases, sculptures, bronzes). Note the refined detail of the base capitals in cast and chiseled bronze. Late 19th early 20th century. Good condition.
