Oil Painting On Cardboard, Dated And Unsigned, Late 19th Century, Italian School
Oil painting on cardboard depicting a countryside view with a stream. It bears the 21-8-84 inscription at the bottom left, in the manner of Delleani. On the back, it bears the inscription "Delleani" in pencil, a very thick brushstroke, as was the practice of the famous painter. We cannot guarantee that it is by the aforementioned artist, so we are selling it with the inscription "Delleani" (1840-1908). It was purchased at an antiques auction by a private individual in the 1980s and 1990s, and is attributed to Delleani. It does not come with a certificate of authenticity.
