Japanese quiver with six arrows. The structure is made of lacquered bamboo, the bottom is made of gold lacquered leather with a kamon (family symbol) of ichi no tomoe, ichi for one and the tomoe is the symbol of Shintoism (the national religion of Japan).

The rope for holding the arrows has been restored as can be seen in one of the photos (the new rope has been restored with a Japanese cotton rope), you can put a dozen arrows on this quiver as well as an arrow in a leather notch especially for a sharper or special arrow.

The arrows that are with this quiver are of various sizes and styles too, they show some wear, their lengths vary from 92-94 cm, made of bamboo with horn or bamboo notches.
