Court sword - Ancien Régime - Reign of Louis XV, circa 1750. Gold-plated brass mountings and hilt, entirely decorated with foliage. Crossguard with rings. Openwork double-sided guard, as well as the pommel body with floral decorations. The escutcheon is also openwork with decorations of two children. The main branch of the guard has a woman with an exotic hairstyle in the centre. Double-edged blade with a flat central ridge, 87 cm long, engraved and gilded on the first third.
