Rectangular travel inkwell with a flat base. In guilloché and gilt silver, fitted with a hinged lid with a locking system. Trompe-l'œil decoration, with strong edges and fillets; the lid decorated with a stylized acanthus frieze. France, circa 1900. Without title mark. Master silversmith: Gustave Keller, Paris.
