Rare cream-colored glazed ceramic vase with a purple, blue, and yellow speckled pattern and gold highlights, with a high-relief decoration of an octopus appearing to wrap itself around the vase and playing with a crab. The neck is flared with teeth rising upwards. Austrian work from the Art Nouveau period around 1900 designed by Eduard STELLMACHER (1868 - 1945) for the Amphora factory. Magnificent multicolored glass enhanced with gilding. Perfect condition. Manufacturer's stamp under the base "Amphora" with serial numbers. Perfect condition.
