Italian Still Life with Flowers by Giuseppe Sorgiani Circa 1930, Oil on cardboard painting on poplar plywood panel. The composition depicts a round wooden table on which are placed a glass vase with flowers, a white ceramic piece with a seated antelope and a round blue bowl. A dark backbround with a draped curtain. The painting is signed in the lower right corner by Sorgiani, the Venetian painter Giuseppe Idone Sorgiani (1889-1952). The painting is in good condition, set within a beautiful carved and gilded wooden frame, and dates back to the early decades of the 1900s.
