Rare Louis XV period cane. Gold knob and eyelets. Mark of manufacture "Fleur de bassin et flankée de 6 fleurons d'ornement". Mark of manufacture used by the Paris control office under the direction of Julien Alaterre, tax farmer from 1765 to 1774. It was stamped on gold works at 916 thousandths. Leather strap. Long rush shaft. Metal ferrule. The entire cane measures 47,24 inches.
