Undisputed champion of the floating cherub at the beginning of the 20th century, these adorable creatures adorned not only public buildings in Paris and Lyon, but also in Vienna and Buenos Aires. Picard's line is pure movement and pure charm. Jewish, at the end of his life, he was persecuted by the Nazis, but found refuge with the Havilland family in Yzeures-sur-Creuse.
