Chinese Ritual Bronze Vase, 18th–19th Century

Cast bronze vase with a central apron decorated with drooping tassels suspended from chains. The neck is adorned with a motif of vines and leaves. The vessel is flanked on both sides by two archaistic elephant-head handles and rests on a square splayed foot.
