17th Century Cabinet
Cabinet in ebony and ivory veneer. It opens with 10 drawers on the front and a door framed by columns whose base is decorated with an Indian subject, and decorated in its center with an engraved character representing perhaps Perseus holding the head of Medusa. The drawers are decorated with charming subjects also engraved. Perhaps, Aesop's fables. The central door opens on 3 drawers decorated with profiled heads.
