Large painted canvas (146 CM x 98 CM) decorated with "Bouquet of flowers on a classical entablature animated by a parrot on a background of classical architecture and crumpled velvet ..." treated in the taste of the 18th century. It is probably a theater decoration intended to be fixed in a decor of classical woodwork. The canvas is for the moment simply stretched between two rods at the top and bottom to be easily rolled and moved but the presence of a small margin of canvas could allow if necessary a placing on a stretcher. Good used condition with certainly some wear and scratches but no hole, the whole to preserve beautiful colors quite fresh but could according to the tastes still gain with a suitable cleaning ...
