Very pretty two-part Renaissance style sideboard forming a display case in the upper part. The lower part rests on four feet. The front feet are lion paws. The front opens with two richly carved leaves in high relief and are decorated with two Mascarons contained in cartouches, a large transverse drawer with an amusing grotesque head handle surmounts them. The uprights are decorated with grotesques, the sides are decorated with a sculpture contained in a rectangular molding. The upper part is glazed on the sides and opens on the front with two doors also glazed and decorated with rays of piastres. The uprights are covered with caryatids. The pediment is carved with interlacing, masks and shells on the sides. This buffet-vitine is a manufacture of the second half of the 19th century in the Neo-Renaissance style very fashionable at that time. This piece of furniture is in good used condition and obviously has some wear.
