Octagonal tea box in gilded black lacquer. Decorated with scenes of dignitaries on a background of floral scrolls. Rests on four claw feet. Opens onto two incised tin boxes decorated with figures. Work from the late 19th century in Canton. With its key and working lock. Minor defects from use.
