Rare 19th-century official sealing stamp in wood and bronze, engraved around the edge with: “ADMINISTRATION COMMUNALE DE LIMBOURG – LIÈGE.”
In the center, the coat of arms of the city of Limbourg — a fortified gate with three towers, surmounted by a small shield bearing the red lion of Limbourg, all crowned with a mural crown.
Maker’s mark on the rim: JEHOTTE À LIÈGE, engraver and seal maker active around 1820–1845.

Seal diameter: 3.5 cm
Materials: turned wood and bronze (or brass)
Period: circa 1840–1845
Condition: very good original condition, fine aged patina, sharp and legible engraving.
