A high-quality, untouched 19th-century Victorian period red leather button back wing armchair. The substantial, well-shaped heavy solid frame features a deep-buttoned upholstered back, all covered in the original red leather. The chair boasts scrolling arms, a sprung seat, loose feathered cushion and close-nailed brass stud detailing. It is raised on tall turned baluster legs terminating in castors. The chair has a beautiful, untouched color and rich patina, and it is very comfortable. It is in superb condition with no damage or repairs. The chair seat height is 53cm.In very good original condition, this armchair offers both comfort and aesthetic charm.
