Carcel Lamp In Painted Sheet Metal, 19th Century, Height 74 Cm

"Carcel" lamp in painted sheet metal forming a stylized Doric order column, Restoration period, first part of the 19th century.
It is decorated with gilded painted decorations with the attributes of music (different on three sides) on a Sang de Boeuf background.
The square base is topped with heart-shaped rais-de-coeur and acanthus leaves (in the corners) in chiseled bronze.
New electrification : gilded brass socket for E27 screw bulb, new wire.
The power supply is mounted inside the foot.
Its rectangular lampshade was created from a fabric from Braquenié with "A l'Antique" decoration.
