Oriental painting representing a landscape probably Moroccan. Beautiful perspective and beautiful luminosity. Albert Lepreux Painter, draftsman and engraver who can be described as post-impressionist. He exhibited from 1909 at the Salon des Indépendants, alongside Monet, Pissaro and Sisley. Attracted by North Africa, he stayed in Algeria in 1920 from where he brought back landscapes that appeared at the Colonial Exhibition of Marseille in 1922 then in the 30s, he went to Morocco which inspired many works, both landscapes and genre scenes that were presented at the Colonial Exhibition of Naples in 1934. In 1931, during the 42nd exhibition of the Society of Independent Artists, he achieved great success: two paintings representing Meaux under the snow were acquired, one by the purchasing commission of the State museums and the other by the commission of Fine Arts and Museums of the City of Paris. He also participated in the Artistic exhibitions of French Africa and the Salon d'Automne.
