Made entirely of bronze in two patinas (brown and gold) and very finely chiseled, this fireplace bar is distinguished by its neoclassical Egyptian decoration. It is organized around two projecting lateral pilasters supporting superb figures representing elongated sphinxes approximately 20 cm long. The longitudinal gallery which joins the two elements is decorated with applique motifs.
