Pair of vintage earrings in 750/°° yellow and white gold (18 KT, owl hallmarks), clip-on format for non-pierced ears, in the shape of crowns. Each is made up of a twist with relief worked on several levels like intertwined ropes: the largest twist, in yellow gold, is made up of two large intertwined sections, themselves made up of finely guilloché wires in the direction of the twist. In the hollow of the twist obtained in yellow gold, a finer rope mesh chain, in white gold, is wound, also made up of two strands…. All the volumes, similar, respond to and complement each other in a trompe l'oeil play of contrast between volumes, textures and colors…. The visual effect obtained gives their dynamic to these earrings of beautiful volume, moreover very sober and easy to wear. Due to the interlacing, these earrings are, in their construction, not completely rigid, and also offer a certain softness to the touch. Each of them has its own shape, its own movement, and these two earrings are not strictly identical, which is voluntary and the result of a work of sculpture and assembly done by hand.
