Pretty Little Cube Marquetry Box, Its Key, Parisian Workshops, Napoleon III

Here is a superb little box end of 19th century, beautiful condition.
Solidly built, inlaid from colored wood, circled with brass fillets, it plays on contrasts between rosewood and maple.
Beautiful varnish, with almost no wear.
Interior is quite correct, with its steel key, which works well.
Good original condition, with a light flaw, (small repair to the marquetry, under key, not very visible, see our detailed photos). Dimensions: 13cm x 8cm x 5.5cm
