Romantic Louis Philippe Collection Camées Du Grand Tour "castello Di Sammezzani" Terra-cotta

Rare presentation as pretty for these pieces of cameos of the "Grand Tour" in terra-cotta, coming from Tuscany from the Castello di Sammezzani, not far from Florence, this pretty gathering of pieces of Greek and Roman Antiquity, Mythological subjects in the image of the Gods and Goddesses. Finely executed and mounted raw on a plum silk, these pieces with different shades of terra-cotta are a curiosity worthy of an "Amateur's Cabinet".
