Solid walnut high chair made in Lombardy in the early 17th century. Its tall, slender frame features a richly carved backrest with a fillet and walnut burl. The decoration is repeated on the lower front crosspiece, typical of Renaissance-Baroque workmanship. The chair has a first patina.
