Octagonal barrel, rifled, mirror finish, marked ‘PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1858 E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION NEWYORK. U.S.A. NEW-MODEL’ on the top and stamped ‘126796’ on the bottom.
Cylindrical steel front sight, upper part longitudinally shaped.
Closed frame. Solid six-chamber cylinder.
Brass trigger guard. Walnut grip plates, monogrammed in a cartouche.
Inspection marks.
Single action.
50% blue finish.
