Meissen porcelain figure of a Turkish woman from the series of ethnic types (Volkstypen) created by Johann Joachim Kaendler around 1750. The figure forms a couple with a Turkish man (Modell-No. 1286). The woman wears richly detailed clothing, on a gilt-decorated base. Marked with the Blue Swords and numbered 1287, 19th century. Listed in the Meissen-Bergmann catalogue
