"18th Century Blown Glass Ewer - Margeride Factory? 18th"
Blown glass ewer, with a pinched spout and a twisted, curved handle applied, the lower part of the body with gadroons, resting on a slightly raised circular foot. Mark of the cane visible under the base of the object. The material, with its characteristic pink iridescence, suggests a production of the Manufacture royale de la Margeride (Cantal), although I have not found such shaped pieces in the documentation devoted to it. Dimensions: height 21.4 cm, diameter at the base 10.2 cm. Crack at the level of the upper part of the handle and chip on the foot. Elegant and very interesting document.
