"1902: The Temple Of Paestum "
The ruins of Magna Graecia are objects of inspiration for all traveling artists. The temple of Paestum is a must, under the harsh light of the Campanian summer. René Delannoy (1882-1960) could be the architect who created art deco buildings in Lille or Saint Quentin, the wash being an obligatory work in this discipline, like the visit of ancient monuments. The bias is rather audacious for the time by playing on violent contrasts of light. The frame is original, but needs to be changed because it has lived. It has the merit of showing the interest that was given in its time to this drawing. Dimensions of the drawing 31 cm x 23 cm
