A George II sterling silver pitcher with lid, London, 1734. Flared body with a circular base featuring subtly molded steps. Finely chased floral and foliate engravings on the surface, with a heraldic crest engraved at the center of the body. Domed lid with chased floral decorations, hinged and topped with a shaped finial. Expanding spout with decorative openwork. Shaped and curved handle.
