Pair of small drawings, German school of the 17th century. An old fortified castle for one; a landscape with a view of a village, around its castle with a hill and surrounding woods. Pretty sketches already quite accomplished, in pen and ink wash. Presented in Dutch-style frames in real burl. Marie Louise to be redone, in my opinion. Sheets in very good condition.
