“haute Couture” Necklace By Stanley Hagler
Exceptional haute couture necklace with 4 rows of taupe-colored glass beads in the shape of a heart, embellished with a magnificent glass paste flower finely decorated with beads, crystals and glass flowers. The flower is applied to an openwork brass plate and also set with colored beads, crystals and flowers. On the back of it, we find the signature of Stanley Hagler NYC. The clasp is also delicately embellished with pearls. This haute couture jewelry is an exceptional piece created with elegance and luxury. Stanley Hagler founded his costume jewelry house in New York in 1953, after working at Miriam Haskell. Quickly nicknamed the "Picasso of costume jewelry", he distinguished himself with opulent, often floral creations, handmade with glass beads, Swarovski crystals and baroque elements. His pieces, produced in small series and often signed "Stanley Hagler NYC", are today highly sought after by collectors for their quality, creativity and rarity.
