"Ex-voto And Pilgrimage Cross. Spain, 17th Century. "
Devotional medallion painted under glass representing a crowned holy king, dressed in a green cloak decorated with gold, in a frame of gilded foliage. Finely worked silver setting, old chain carrying three religious pendants: a pectoral crucifix and two small crosses recalling the emblems of Spanish pilgrimage. Silver setting not hallmarked but of controlled title, frequent use for devotional productions of the 17th century.
