Rare and very beautiful small tripod pedestal table in light wood...The edge of the top is carved with a frieze of foliage and underlined with two decorative lines, and in its center it is decorated with female figures wearing costumes which represent each canton of Switzerland and in the center is a painting representing a waterfall in the mountains. The shaft is carved with small flowers on a matte background resting on a base also sculpted with foliage and flowers...This pedestal table "certainly a unique piece", is of a high quality of sculpture! Switzerland (Brienz ...?), end of the 19th century
