Wonderful "Perspective view of lower part of an arsenal (1760)" by Georg Balthasar Probst (1732-1801),
German artist to whom we owe many high quality optical views,
Watercolored in his studio, at the time, it was re-pierced at level of wall lights to allow the illusion of visiting of this arsenal at sunset: very well done.
Engraving was cut, and nicely placed in a wash mount still fresh in color.
