"Chinese Porcelain Teapot, Guangxu Period"
Chinese famille rose jug with an iron red background and gold calligraphic inscriptions on the front and back. The sides are decorated with enameled scenes depicting, on one side, Shou Lao with a child and a bird in flight and, on the other side, a woman dancing in a garden. Guangxu period (1875-1908). The text says it was written in a summer month in Changren and can be formulated as follows: "Let the strings of the qin resonate and the charms of books flow, like vigorous pines blossoming in the sun, bringing auspices and longevity." Text humbly presented by the hermit of the fields. Stamps and old remnants of labels on the underside. Small chip on the spout.
