Philips “Playbox” radio-turntable for Medea – 1974
In 1974, Italian company Medea decided to produce a small series of hi-fi systems for the living room, integrated into one of their designer cabinets. The result, in collaboration with Philips, was the famous Playbox, an original piece of furniture that housed a radio, amplifier, and record player.
