This beautiful cup is in very good condition. The thistle decoration, typical of the Art Nouveau period, has been very finely crafted. The interior is in vermeil (a thin layer of solid gold plated over solid silver). The top bears the inscription: XIe fête annuel de tir Grenoble 1911. A first-grade Minerva hallmark (solid silver guarantee) is present around the edge and a goldsmith's hallmark, difficult to decipher, is visible on the bottom. Height: 8.5 cm. Weight: 76 grams.
