"19th Century 'sheath' Shaped Chiffonier."
Our piece of furniture is entirely inlaid with rosewood and mahogany. Its four curved sides are decorated with a fretted mahogany cartouche, featuring a herringbone marquetry. The right side opens onto a curved door with a series of six small drawers in solid mahogany. The four corners are adorned with a bronze rocaille drop. The top, surrounded by a bronze gallery, is also decorated with geometric motifs. The piece of furniture rests on four small curved legs, ending in bronze sabots, connected to each other by a border molding. Beautiful and rare Louis XV style piece of furniture, in very good original condition.
