Virgin and Child in carved wood - 18th century Virgin in natural wood (species?) from the 18th century. Work of folk art = rustic sculpture of faces. Beautiful drapery. Has suffered the ravages of time: Attack of wood-boring insects and some missing parts (1 finger on each hand of the Virgin, several fingers of the baby Jesus, gnawed toes). Height 78 cm
