From a very young age, he showed a passion for drawing, which he practiced even before he could walk. Despite initial training in watchmaking, he quickly turned to the visual arts and joined the École des Beaux-Arts in Marseille. Between 1958 and 1968, he participated in numerous salons and group exhibitions in France. His career then took on an international dimension: he exhibited in Europe, Africa, Canada, the United States and Mexico, where he lived for a time. His style is distinguished by a bold technique mixing sand and oil paint, applied with a knife. This superposition creates a rich texture, on which he deploys vibrant and expressive colors. His work is part of the “Young Painting” movement, with a gestural approach and remarkable chromatic intensity
